(HIPPI-6400 is also commercially known as GSN.)
HIPPI-6400-OPT Rev 2.5a, dated September 19, 2002 is here. This is a clean version (no rev bars) that addresses the public review comments made by Gair Brown of TIA FO 2.2. This version (2.5a) will be proceeding to yet-another T11 letter ballot. HIPPI-6400-OPT Rev 2.5a, contains rev bars. Comments contains the comment resolution.

HIPPI-6400-OPT Rev 2.5, dated December 6, 2001 is here. This is a clean version (no rev bars) that fills in the missing specification for the the 1300 nm multimode form of operation. The optical working group decided that adding the specification was the correct approach to resolving the comment made by David Hyer, rather than deleting the mode of operation as was speculatively done in version 2.4. Thus, version 2.5 will be proceeding to a T11 letter ballot.
HIPPI-6400-OPT Rev 2.4, dated November 26, 2001 is here. Also, here is a copy w/o rev markers. This version is a possibile response to a comment made during public review. The comment noted that the 1300 nm multimode form of operation was incompletely specified. This version removes that mode of operation.

HIPPI-6400-OPT Rev 2.3, dated June 7, 2001 is here. This version is the one forwarded to NCITS for public review at the June 7th T11.1 and T11 Plenary meetings.
HIPPI-6400-OPT Comments and resolutions in pdf format resulting from the T11 letter ballot. These comments were made by Corning and were resolved at the June 7th HIPPI meetings.

High-Performance Parallel Interface - 6400 Mbit/s Optical Specification (HIPPI-6400-OPT)Abstract -
This document describes a media-level, point-to-point, 12-channel, full-duplex, electrical / optical interface, with each channel operating at 500 Mbit/s or 1 Gbit/s. Multimode (MM) fiber cables, and single-mode (SM) fiber cables are used for distances up to 1 km when carrying the HIPPI-6400-PH protocol. Differential signals are used on the electrical side.Technical Editor -
