HIPPI-LE, Rev 4.0 Maintenance, dated November 28, 2000 is here. This version reflects the final changes made by NCITS and ANSI after T11.1 completed its document work. If we make subsequent changes or modifications to the approved standard, this document will be the baseline.

HIPPI-LE, Rev 3.8, dated January 10, 2000, is here. References to the IP and ARP over HIPPI RFC have been removed. Rev 3.8 will be reviewed at the February 15-16, 2000, meeting in Huntington Beach, CA. Also available is a clean copy without rev bars.

HIPPI-LE Rev 3.7, dated October 30, 1998, is here. It includes an ANSI cover page, disclaimers, and NCITS membership list. Only a few minor changes were made in the body of the document. Rev 3.7 will be reviewed at the November 17-18, 1998, meeting in Mountain View, CA.

HIPPI-LE Rev 3.6, dated September 21, 1998, is here. It includes the changes agreed to at the September meeting in Richardson, TX. Rev 3.6 will be reviewed at the October 6-7, 1998, meeting in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

HIPPI-LE Rev 3.4 , dated August 6, 1993, is here. It is essentially the same as the ANSI Standard published in 1993.

Status as of September 23, 1998 -

HIPPI-LE, ANSI X3.218-1993, has its 5-year sunset date in 1998. Hence, we had to (1) reaffirm without change, or (2) revise, or (3) withdraw, the existing standard during 1998. Project 825-R has been approved for a revision. The material superceded by the "ARP and IP Broadcast over HIPPI-800" RFC, is being removed. The last change anticipated is adding the RFC number for the "ARP and IP Broadcast over HIPPI-800" document when the RFC number is assigned.
